Mister Fogpatches narrow favourite in Scottish Grand National
2021 Scottish Grand National, Ayr Racecourse, 3:35pm, Sunday April 18th
Mister Fogpatches is general 13/2 favourite in what looks set to be an extremely open Scottish Grand National this afternoon. The Pat Fahy-trained runner is just ahead of Soldier Of Love and Aye Right who are generally around 15/2 apiece but favouritism is disputed with a number of leading bookmakers for the 22-strong contest which takes place at 3:35pm, one of eight races on the Ayr card today.
One of the other feature races on the card this afternoon is the Coral Scottish Champion Hurdle which takes place at 2:25pm and the market for this race is currently headed by Milkwood at general odds of 11/4 ahead of Calico, the latter set to be ridden by Jockey’s Championship current leader Harry Skelton and priced at a general 7/2.
