How to watch the 2021 Grand National Festival on TV

The most iconic and exciting horse race on the planet is now just a few days away and we take a look at the TV schedule for the three-day festival which leads up to the feature race on Saturday, 10th April.

It is two years since the sports’ top racehorses last met in this gruelling contest although while we had to make do with a Virtual Grand National in 2020 due to the cessation of horse racing in the UK, we can once again look forward to live action from the famous Aintree Racecourse with 40 runners set to contest this amazing spectacle in a little over a weeks’ time.

The big question this year will be, ‘who can take Tiger Roll’s crown?’. The two-time champion won’t be taking his place in the line-up this year due to a disagreement between the owners and the handicapper regarding the allocated weight assigned to the 11-year-old, however this in no way diminishes what will certainly be a top-class field.

The Grand National itself takes place at 5:15pm on Saturday 10th April, however this race is just one of many that take place over three days, starting from Thursday 8th April.

The ITV coverage runs from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday 8th April and Friday 9th April while the coverage on Saturday afternoon is extended to 6:15pm. This means that ITV will not be showing the first and last races on each day of the meeting, however you can watch these races completely free provided you have a funded betting account with any of our featured bookmakers.

You can join any bookmaker today using the links on this page and in doing so you will have access to a range of free bet bonuses which you can claim upon registering.
