The 2019 Grand National Festival is a little over two months away and punters up and down the country will be keeping an eye on the latest runner and rider announcements, however for many ladies it is a chance to get dolled up and fascinators, frocks and shoes will be getting a dusting down for the eagerly-awaited Ladies Day on Friday, April 5th.
This is the highlight of the Aintree meeting for many racegoers and provides regular punters with a parade of beautiful ladies looking to win the Style Award.
This year’s award for best-dressed female at 2019 Ladies Day has been announced with one lucky winner taking home a prize worth a cool £35,000.
On Friday 5th April, a lucky lass will be driving home with a Range Rover Evoque D180S PLUS a year’s supply of dresses from Chi Chi London. Lucky runners-up will go home with £100 in vouchers for Chi Chi, certainly not to be sniffed at!
The new Ranger Rover model was unveiled last November and won’t be released until March 2019, therefore this will certainly be one of the first to be seen anywhere in the UK.
Of course, while fashion may take centre stage in many respects, there’s some top-quality horse racing on offer, the Randox Health Topham Steeple Chase and the JLT Melling Steeple Chase certain to be fiercely contested on the second day of the three-day festival. For those who haven’t yet got their tickets, there’s no time to lose with options disappearing fast. The Grand National day itself has nearly sold out, however there remain tickets left for the other two days including Ladies Day.
